Come here to me now my delicate desert rose, for Eros’ love-poisoned arrow has unerringly found my heart, and I cannot stand to be separated from you for a mere moment longer. What little remains of the day is fleeting, and dusk does soon approach, so step your bare feet lightly along our burgeoning garden path, through trees of sanguine Tarocco orange, flesh the hue of your luscious lips, and vibrant Femminello lemons, joyous as your rollicking ringlet hair. Gather fresh strawberries, cantaloupe, kumquats and honeydew along your way, but do not tarry long, for I yearn to feel your radiant Leonforte peach skin, taste your raspberry ripe tongue, and giddily gaze into your hazelnut brown eyes. Later, we will sup on salmon, pink and vibrant as Mediterranean coral, and sip on sweet Chambord, heady enough to quench our thirst but not to dim the roaring fire of our mutual desire.
