To commemorate launch of my Le Cuvier wine blog, Dr. Nameeta Sahni-Smith presented me with the gift of a giant Penis which she procured during a special trip to Bangkok. Dr Sahni-Smith, who is a member in good standing of the Elliptical Society, administers to the criminally insane at various State institutions on California's Central Coast, & thus her rather large gift is all the more propitious.
So this then is the pointed launch of my blog, but what is the purpose of said blog? I'm not completely certain, though I do have some vague inklings:
- We may (or may not) move forward with construction of a new winery on our home property. This blog will track the winds of change as we advance the project, or (more likely) flounder in the morass of bank nonsense.
- Then there are the vineyards. For those of you who don't live surrounded by vines, following their yearly cycle from bud break through to leaf fall after harvest might add some color to your wine. And, of course, there can be discussion of why this vineyard versus that vineyard, the soils, the pruning & all the rest of it.
- Then, too, the wines. There is lots of room for heated gibberish when it comes to the wines.
I suspect that this blog will also be a place where I can respond to questions & comments from highly esteemed members of our Elliptical Society, & from the Unwashed Masses as well. So, dear reader, as points of interest, questions, or complaints become apparent to you, let me know your thoughts & desires, & I will endeaver to blog & bounce about on these pages on a regular basis (of sorts).
And thus we begin . . .
