Le Cuvier Reservation Policies
General Note: Elliptical Society dinners are only open to Elliptical Members and their guests.
Our dinners, all catered by Bistro Laurent, fill up very quickly. To help ensure that as many members as possible can participate, a member may make a reservation for only one dinner, but can be on the wait list for one additional event.
In order to give all Elliptical Society members an equal shot at reserving spaces, we send every member a newsletter containing the annual Calendar of Events by snail mail at the same time in January. Reservations may be made by phone, email or via the online reservation request form, and they are granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Wine Dinners: Dinners held at John & Mary's home are limited to 22 guests. Transportation from downtown Paso Robles to their home is included in the price of the dinner. Dinners hosted at Bistro Laurent are limited to 26 guests. Transportation to the restaurant is not provided.
We have chosen such a small group so that our wine dinners are true dinner parties rather than those mass wine banquets filled with platters of cold mutton, & to also ensure that you gain a meaningful hands-on experience when you join us for a dinner. We usually pour five wines, either new releases or Library wines from our extensive collection of older wines.
